FACTORY OVERVIEW

A Connected Flow, Not Isolated Equipment

Grinding, finishing, assembly and process-control stations are organized as a connected production flow. Automation supports repeatable handling and processing, while operators remain part of setup, monitoring and production control.

Controlled machining

Dedicated grinding and finishing areas for bearing rings.

Automated assembly

Purpose-built stations support repeatable feeding, positioning and pressing.

Process checkpoints

Dimensional and vibration checks create control points within the production flow.

THE CONFIRMED PRODUCTION SEQUENCE

Eight Steps From Ring Preparation to Vibration Grading

The production flow follows the actual sequence from controlled ring processing through assembly, lubrication, closure and final vibration grading.
01

Ring Grinding

Inner and outer rings complete controlled grinding before they enter the assembly flow.

02

Inner & Outer Ring Assembly

The prepared inner and outer rings are fed, aligned and combined at the assembly station.

03

Ball Loading

Steel balls are introduced into the combined ring set before they are evenly distributed.

04

Ball Separation

The loaded balls are separated and positioned evenly around the raceway.

05

Cage Installation

The cage is positioned and pressed to retain the separated balls in the assembly.

06

Grease Filling

Lubricant is filled according to the confirmed bearing and application requirement.

07

Shield Sealing

Metal shields are pressed into place to close and protect the bearing assembly.

08

Vibration Testing & Grading

Finished bearings are tested and separated by measured vibration level before release.

INSIDE THE PROCESS

Real Production, Step by Step

Real production footage shows key stages across assembly, ball positioning and bearing closure.
STEP 05

Cage Installation

The retainer is positioned and pressed around the separated ball set.

STEP 07

Shield Sealing

Multiple press stations install metal shields before finished bearings are collected.

Inline dimensional control

AUTOMATION & PROCESS CONTROL

Control Points Within the Production Flow

Automated equipment supports repeatable handling and processing, but consistency also depends on defined checkpoints. The footage shows an inline contact measurement station checking a ring during production. Final test requirements are then aligned with the bearing specification and application.

  • Automated and semi-automated process equipment
  • In-process ring measurement
  • Vibration testing and level-based grading
  • Operator setup, monitoring and process oversight

FROM MANUFACTURING TO QUALITY

Production Consistency Continues Into Inspection and Validation

Vibration grading closes the manufacturing flow. Further inspection and validation continue within LUMI's quality process.
